As independent damp surveyors we've carried out huge numbers of damp, timber and mould surveys in a vast array of properties for hundreds of prospective purchasers, landlords, tenants, agents, housing associations, local authorities, universities, solicitors home-owners, architects and builders. Our damp surveying takes us throughout Essex, Hertforeshire, London and East Anglia. Stuart's out damp surveying in towns such as Bishop's Stortford, Chelmsford, Southend, Westcliff, Brentwood, Saffron Walden, Cambridge, Newmarket, St Albans and Hatfield on a weekly basis. As such we're familiar with a huge variety of housing stock. For damp related health problems and/or legal claims, we can also relate damp defects to HHSRS.

Our CSRT damp surveyor, Stuart is an independent Certified Surveyor in Remedial Treatment (CSRT), we're members of the Property Care Association (PCA) and approved by mortgage lenders to undertake pre-purchase surveys. Stuart is also an independent Environmental Health Practitioner (EHP). 

By engaging an independent surveyor, such as Stuart, you can relax safe in the knowledge that your property defect is being assessed by a professionally competent surveyor. As surveyors, we charge for our surveys, as professional surveying is solely what we do, we're not there to offer free surveys, in the hopes of making money by undertaking remedial treatments! The advice given within our detailed reports can save you thousands. And if you're worried about the effects of damp and mould upon your health, then fear not, as independent Environmental Health Practitioners, if neceesary  we can risk score the hazard under the Housing Act 2004: Housing, Health & Safety Rating System should you wish. This can help clarify whether the property is habitable and the severity of risk and likelihood of harm to the occupant’s health.
