Tips, Tricks and Information in Immigration Accommodation Reports and many other subjects.
UK law requires all foreign nationals from outside of the EEC moving to Great Britain to live, to be able to confirm that they are able to occupy a home that is of a suitable standard and will not be made overcrowded by their arrival. Increasingly, the UK Border Agency, a department of the Home Office requires an immigration accommodation report to be produced to evidence this. As Environmental Health consultants, Healthyabode has been helping visa applicants obtain successful entry into the UK, by providing immigration accommodation reports. We’ve been undertaking immigration inspections since 2004 and produced hundreds of Letters and Reports to demonstrate to the Home Office that our client’s are able to occupy accommodation that is safe, secure, free from serious health and safety hazards and won't be made overcrowded. All our reports are professionally produced and fully compliant to all UK Home Office Border Agency requirements.
Why do I need an Immigration accommodation report?..............
An immigration accommodation inspection requires someone who already resides in the UK to be named as the Sponsor. This person agrees to sponsor the person, known as the Applicant who is moving into the area. This person can be a friend, landlord or relative, but is often a husband, wife, parent or fiancé. The Entry Clearance Officer's at the Border Agency a department of the Home Office often ask for proof that the property being moved into, is suitable. The British High Commission requests that a suitably qualified person undertakes this work, at Healthyabode, an independent environmental health consultancy, we specialise in providing Immigration accommodation reports. As such all of our surveyor are environmental health practitioners, environmental health and housing consultants, hold degree's and/or Master's in Environmental Health are certified in the Housing Health & Safety Rating System and are competent to carry out immigration accommodation reports. We’re not the cheapest company, but then the old saying you get what you pay for, really is true with immigration inspection reports, we are qualified, we’ve carried out hundreds of reports with a 100% success rate and are rated as a highly competent company. Whilst, it’s not our style to bad mouth some of our competition, we do urge caution, when searching for an immigration accommodation surveyor, as unfortunately there are companies out there, that charge a lot less (and even more worrying!) a lot more, but in return provide little more than a couple of lines on letterheaded paper. This counts for little and in the past, Healthyabode has been asked to produce the correct survey, when an unqualified person, usually an estate agent or energy performance surveyor, has provided an inaccurate and poorly produced report. Typically our Reports cost between £150 and £240. Our reports include Sponsor’s, all other members of the household and Applicant’s details, we include full measurements of the house, photographs and detail our findings as per our Housing Health & Safety Rating System inspection. We’re contracted to local authorities, councils, housing associations, solicitors and visa agents and of course, we’ll undertake inspections for private individuals too.
Healthyabode undertake property inspections for immigration purposes such as to aid in an application for spouse visas, temporary work permit or settlement and residency within the UK. We specialise in providing Immigration accommodation reports that fulfil all Home Office: UK Border Agency requirements. Our fast track service can see a qualified immigration accommodation surveyor dispatched to your home within 24hours, with reports quickly typed and released first electronically, so that our clients can send these to their solicitors, or to the Applicant who often resides abroad and then by first class post. After all no one wants to wait days for their reports! Many times we’ve been contacted by the Sponsor when the Applicant has been refused entry by the entry clearance officer, due to not being able to evidence that the intended accommodation is safe, free from major hazards and will not become overcrowded. Understandably, this is a fraught time for both Sponsor and Applicant alike and our calm, professional manner and reactive response can see an inspection undertaken by one of our surveyors, the same day and the Report produced and sent electronically by E-mail abroad, to satisfy the Entry Clearance Officer, who then grants the Applicant entry.
